You Know Enough

“Most men (and women) lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them”

Henry David Thoreau

This is a very poignant quote by Henry Thoreau because all of us have something in us that we are here to do.

Personally I believe this changes at different periods of life as the whole one life purpose ‘thing’ is overwhelming and often misunderstood, but I will leave that discussion for another day.

I have found (and usually when I say something like that it is because yours truly has experienced it), that so many ideas that come to you go to the grave because you don’t think you know enough about something.

I have been converted though! It doesn’t have to be like that. In this week’s episode I discuss why you shouldn’t be so quick to squash an idea and why your perceived limited knowledge does not have to be an issue.

I would love to hear some of the ideas you may have but are being held back by lack of knowledge, however crazy they may seem. Remember, ideas come to you for a reason!

Jennie, great video! Learning new things has been a mantra for me all of my life. I was the kid that sat with a dictionary next to me when I read as a child so that when I came across a word I didn’t know, I could look it up. I often become interested in new things and the first thing I do is pick up a book on the subject. Because of that, I’ve got a lot of useless knowledge. But I’ve also learned some great stuff that has gotten me where I am today.

Hey Deanna – thanks for the feedback. Fabulous that you are naturally inclined to learn, that’s a big step above so many people out there, and don’t underestimate the power of the knowledge you have :-) Thanks so much for stopping by x

    Hi Jennie,
That was me a few years ago, wanting to learn, but not doing anything about it! So much has changed for me, for the better since i started studying with you, and with the Open University. I love learning!! I never ever thought i would say that! I have learnt so much about myself, and just want to learn more about everything that interests me.
    Thanks for a great video.
    Paula xx
